Fleet Marine Force
Ribbon
Authorized by the Secretary of the Navy on September 1, 1984. The Navy
Fleet Marine Force Ribbon was established to recognize officers and enlisted
men of the U.S. Navy who serve with the Marine Corps and demonstrate
exceptional Navy qualifications in providing support in a combat environment.
Officers and enlisted personnel must serve a minimum of 12 months duty with
the Fleet Marine Force, satisfactorily complete the Marine Corps Essential
Subjects Test, and satisfactorily pass the USMC Physical Fitness
Test.
