(310800H July to 310800H August 1965

The weather was generally clear with only occasional scattered light showers during first three (3) weeks of this period with some heavy showers during the last week.

The heat had some effect on movement of troops in the heavily vegetated northwestern areas.  Thick undergrowth impaired visibility and movement of troops in mountainous areas in the northwestern area; however vegetation had no effect on troop movements on the peninsula.

On road trafficablility is considered good and off road trafficablility fair to untrafficable.  During wet weather, on road trafficablility is considered fair with low areas becoming untrafficable to M-274 vehicles and moderately trafficable to M-422 vehicles.
