Subj:  Concept of Operation for 10-11 July (Operation FOOT)

1.         Concept.

Company D (rein) lands by helicopter at 100800H in LZ vicinity GC 442093 and conducts combat patrol along assigned route, to seek and destroy VC.  Landing Zone secured by 1^st Plat, Co B, 3^rd Recon Bn, landed by LVT vicinity GC 455094 at first light 10 July.  Company D (rein) established patrol base vicinity Hill 69 GC 448064 for night of 10-11 July and conducts local patrolling and establishes ambushes. At first light on 11 July continues combat patrol on assigned route and returns to assigned sector of Battalion Defense by helicopter from Landing Zone vicinity GC 430088 at approximately 111500H.
