1.            Situation.

A.                Enemy.  See current ISUMS.

B.                Friendly.  Remains the same.

2.            Mission.  No change.

3.            Execution.

A.                Company A (rein).  Establish platoon night ambush commencing 082100H at trail junctions vicinity GC 507025.  Secure ambush at 090500H and return to objective ‘Q’.  Be prepared to conduct combat two day extended patrol on 8 June in accordance with the operation overlay (tentative) to search and clear areas and villages along assigned route.

B.                Company B (rein).  Conduct platoon combat patrol in vicinity of Hill 410 commencing 080600H in accordance with the operations overlay.  Provide one platoon for Pied Piper CP Defense.  Be prepared to lift one platoon from LZ Robin to LZ Falcon on 9 June.

C.                Company C (rein).  Continue to assist in defense of Pied Piper CP.  Provide twenty (20) man working party to BSA.  Coordinate with S-1.  Provide working party to assist in CP defense improvement.  Coordinate with Hqtrs Cmdt.  Provide liaison officer to district headquarters.  Depart 081630H.  Briefing by S-3/S-2 at 1430H.

D.                Company D (rein).  Secure platoon ambush located vicinity checkpoint 131 at 080530H and return to objective ‘N’.  Provide one platoon to establish ambush vicinity checkpoint 236.  Establish ambush 082030H.  Secure 090500H and return to objective ‘N’.

E.                H&S Company.  Continue to consolidate and improve CP defenses.

F.                 Attached Units.

1.            1st Plat, Co B, 3d Recon Bn.  Be prepared to relieve Company B (-) on Hill 410, 9 June.  Be prepared to establish OP’s and conduct reconnaissance patrols as directed.

2.            1st Plat, Co B, 3d AT Bn.  Continue to assist in CP defense.  Provide security for engineer squad breaking a road towards Hill 213 as required.

3                    1st Plat, Co C, 3d TK Bn.  Continue to assist in CP defense.  Conduct PM checks of vehicles.

4                    Howtar Btry, 3d Bn, 12 Marines.  General support.

G.                Coordinating Instructions.

1.            Submit sit reports at least hourly for all patrols, ambushed, search and clear operations.

2.            Submit summary of night activities report no later than 0645 daily.

3            Submit local patrol plans at least 24 hours in advance.

4.            Submit detailed after action reports within 10 hours after any enemy engagements.

5.            Submit total number of personnel for helo lifts no later than 1700 on the day prior to a scheduled lift.

6.            Remove all shade covers over offensive positions (i.e. shelter halves, ponchos, etc.) prior to dark.

4.            Administration and Logistics.  No change.

5.            Command and Communications/Electronics.  No change.
