1.            Situation.

A.                Enemy.  See current ISUMS.

B.                Friendly.  No change.

2.            Mission.  Occupy and control TAOR #1.  Conduct aggressive operations to locate and destroy VC units and supplies.  Maintain observation and surveillance of villages.  Be prepared to displace to assigned sector and establish deliberate defensive positions.

3.            Execution.

A.                Company A (rein).  Continue recovering all materials on current position.  Be prepared, on order, to helo lift to designated area and assume defensive posture.

B.                Company B (rein).  Establish platoon ambush vicinity GC 551001 at 092100H.  Secure 100530H.  Provide one platoon for CP defense.  Provide one platoon at 091030H for security of CP advance party.  Establish hasty defense at new CP location.

C.                Company C (rein).  Be prepared, on order, to relieve Company G on Hill 69 (GC 469069).  Provide defensive responsibilities of bridge and establish road block vicinity GC 498068.  Establish outpost vicinity of GC 500052.  Tentative date of execution: 10 June.

D.                Company D (rein).  Be prepared, on order, to helo lift form present position to area to be designated about 11 June and establish deliberate defensive positions.

E.                H&S Company.  Continue execution of assigned mission.  Be prepared to displace CP to Vicinity of GC 526093 on 11 June.

F.                 81mm Mortar platoon.  Be prepared to displace, on order, to designated firing position/positions; and provide one section in direct support of each rifle company.

G.                Attached Units.

1.                  Howtar Battery, 3d Bn, 12^th Marines.  Continue presently assigned mission.  Submit recommended firing positions for newly assigned defensive sector at 100800H.  Be prepared to displace, on order.

2.                  1^st Plat, Co B, 3d Recon Bn.  Provide escort and security for MedCap unit to Tri Binh (1) on 9 June.  Coordinate with S-1.  Establish ambush vicinity GC 487002 at 092100H.  Secure at 100530H.  Be prepared to helo lift to LZ Jaybird at 091700H.

3.                  1^st Plat, Co /B, 3d AT Bn.  Conduct route recon as directed.  Submit recommendations for employment of Ontos in newly assigned defensive sector at 100800H.

4.                  1^st Plat, Co C, 3d TK Bn.  Continue driver training.  Submit recommendation for employment of tanks in newly assigned defensive sector at 100900H.

5.                  Det, Co A, 1^st Amtrac Bn.  Continue to provide resupply and logistics support as directed.

H.                Coordinating Instructions.

1.                  Do not leave any trash, equipment, documents, or any other type of material at present locations when displacing.

2.                  Previous issued instructions remain in effect.

4.            Administration and Logistics.  On 9 June draw MIC through 11 June.

5.            Command and Communications/Electronics,

B.                Tentative Pied Piper CP location:  GC 526093.

C.                Tentative date of displacement:  11 June.
