E.                H&S Company (-) (rein).  Be prepared to withdraw 81mm mortar section from Hill 69 in conjunction with Company C.  Check trail leading into supply area for possible LZ or ambush site.

1.                  1^st Plt, Co B, 3d Recon Bn.  Be prepared to establish OP vicinity Hill 69 (468068) on order.

2.                  1^st Plt, Co B, 3d AT Bn. Direct support of Company A and Company B.

G.                Coordinating Instructions.

1.                  Continue to improve defensive positions.  Emphasis is 60% on FEBA positions and 40% on patrolling.

2.                  The breeches of all automatic weapons will be held open during daylight hours by means of wooden blocks.  This includes M-60, 50 cal spot and 30 cal.

3.                  The breech of the 106RR will be open at all times except during movement or final preparation for a fire mission.

4.                  Be prepared to test fire M-60’s when directed.

5.                  Submit overlays of planned ambush sites and patrol routes for period 191800H to 201800H by 181500H.

6.                  Check all optical equipment ASAP and establish frequent inspections in future.

4.            Administration and Logistics.  No change.

5.            Command and Communications/Electronics.  No change.
