A.                Enemy Forces.  (See current ISUMS).

B.                Friendly Forces.  Popular Forces setting night ambushes along coast line in front of FEBA.

2.            Mission.  No change.

3.            Execution.

A.                Company A (rein).  Conduct two squad size recon and one squad size combat patrols.  Recon 1:  TOD: 220830H, TOR: 221230H, Route: POD/R: 523104_W to 512105-W along coast to 502104_NE along coast to 509108-SE to 512106, and return.  Recon 2:  TOD: 221300H, TOR: 221700H, Route: POD/R: 527112-W to 516112-SW along coast to 513107-NW to 510110-N along coast to 515113-NE to 523116, and return.  Combat 3:  TOD: 222100H, TOR: 222400H, Route: POD/R: 527108-NW to 523114-W to 520114-S to 520109-W to 527108-POR.

B.                Company B (rein).  Conduct three squad size recon patrols: One TOD: 220500H, TOR: 220730H, Route: 527086-521086-520080-524084-528085.  Two  TOD: 220600H, TOR: 220930H, Route: 521095-526099-537104-522098.  Three TOD: 220900H, TOR: 221000H, Route: POD/R: 523091-522091-520094-516014-Coastline to 517089-519091-522091-POR.

C.                Company C (rein).Roadblock has the authority to stop all vehicles.  Keep an accurate count of vehicles/personnel passing thru gate.  Notify Bn when ever convoys pass thru.

D.                Company D (rein).  Conduct two squad size security patrols:  One TOD: 220630H, TOR: 221200H, POD: 511056 Route: 511056-SE to 52803x-NE to 535044 -------------------520061-SW 516058-POR.  Two TOD: 221300H, TOR: 221800H, POD: 531079, Route: 531079-NW 520083-SW 506075-S 505070-SE 513068-S 515064-NE 529076, POR xxxxxx.

F.            Attached Units.

1.                  1^st Plat, Co B, 3d Recon Bn.  Continue to send out team with Popular Force ambushes until further notice.

2.                  1^st Plat, Co B, 3d AT Bn.  Light section in support of Company B.  Heavy section in support of Company A.

3.                  1^st Plat, Co C, 3d Tank Bn.  Direct support of Company A (Light Section) and Company D (Light Section).

G.                Coordinating Instructions.

1.                  Demolitions in GS 5206 from 0900-1200H next three days (20, 21, 22) from 0900-1200.  Stay clear.

2.                  No home made authenticators or coupling/shackle sheets will be utilized on any radio net.  Utilize only these published by battalion.  Additional copies available upon request.

3.                  Any changes to previous instructions received over radio will be authenticated.

4.                  Spot reports required as incidents occur.  Detailed sit reports required to cover period 1500H to 2300H daily.  Due this headquarters 2330H.

5.                  Request authentication when in doubt as the orders or messages received.

6.                  Turn in all engineer tools to H&S Company.

4.            Administration and Logistics.  No change.

5.            Command and Communications/Electronics.

A.                CP location remains the same.

B.                Confirmed reports of VC utilizing imitative deception on radio nets.  Authenticate.
