A.                Company A (rein).  Conduct squad size recon patrol 23-1.  TOD: 230400H; POD: 523115; Route: W 518115, S 518098, NE 525102, N 525104; POR: 525104; TOR: 230700H.  Squad size combat patrol 23-2.  TOD: 232015H; TOD: 528108; W 535110, establish ambush vicinity 535110 and return; POR: 528108; TOR: 240100H.  Continue improvement of fighting positions.

E.                H&S Company.  Continue preparing area for movement of Tactical CP.  Construct and improve defensive positions.

F.                 Attached Units.

1.            1st Plt, Co B, 3d Recon Bn.  Conduct hydro survey operations on beach and a reaches from GC 512093 to GC 482117.  Launch three (3) rubber boats from village of Sam Linh prior to dawn on 23 June and secure beachhead vicinity GC 505092.  Begin survey operations at first light in 1000 meter increments out to a distance of 500 meters or twenty-four (24) foot depth, whichever occurs first.  Take sounding in channel between An Hai and Dong Tuan.  Provide logistics requirements.  Insure positive constant communications on Battalion Tactical Net.

2.            1st Plt, Co B, 3d AT Bn.  Light Section in direct support of Company B.  Heavy section in direct support of Company A.

3.            1st Plt, Co C, 3d TK Bn.  Light section in direct support of Company A.  Light section in direct support of Company D.  Conduct section training as directed in Frag Order #46.

G.                Coordinating Instructions.

1.            Emphasize authentication and use of coupling sheets.

2.            Armored vests to emplaced and worn in fighting positions at night.

3.            Assure each Marine has one illumination grenade in his possession when in fighting position.

4.            Insure knowledge and understanding Rules of Engagement by each and every Marine.

5.            Patrol Plan forms to be issued when reproduced.

6.            Percentage of work completed reports due by 1200H daily.

4.            Administration and Logistics.  No change.

5.            Command and Communications/Electronics.  No change.
