1. General Summary of Significant Events. The Assistant Commandant of the Thailand Marine Corp visited this CP at 240900H.
2. Operational Summary.
a. No casualties.
b. No weapons captured.
c. No material destroyed.
d. Detailed Summary.
1. Co A, defensive positions remain the same. Conducted one short patrol to east coast of peninsula and established an ambush vicinity GC 535110 and return.
2. Co B, continues improving defensive positions in assigned area. Conducted two squad size security patrols in central area of peninsula. Negative contact. One squad size patrol still in route.
3. Co C, maintaining outpost at Hill 69 with the --- and section of 81mm mortars. One ---- of bridge/roadblock. Co C (-) on extended patrol, reinforced with plat of PF’s, FAC and Recon team. Had contact vicinity 447xx9, --- shots fired. Have lost contact with VCS. ----- presently located at GC 45xxxx and receiving small arms and mortar fire from vicinity GC 4x60696.
4. Co D, remains in defensive positions. – the northern --- for purchased land area. Conducted two squad size recon patrols that have returned. No enemy contact.
5. A Bn Scout team accompanied one plat of PF’s to GC 5170xx and established an ambush at 230200H. The SDC accompanied by a (rein) fire team from Co B established an ambush at GC 51409x at 232030H.
