1. Summary Significant Events. Battalion continued to improve on defensive positions with Engineers blowing holes for defensive positions. Two morning patrols out. Squad patrol from Co D picked up two Vietnamese without ID. Battalion CP defensive perimeter was consolidated with the movement of the tactical CP.
2. Company A (rein). There was no patrolling during the morning hours.
3. Company B (rein). One squad patrol with departure time of 0700H was postponed. One squad patrol left at 1030H (see overlay). Has not returned.
4. Company C (rein) Continues to man outpost on Hill 69 and at bridge (GC 497067). 3rd platoon remains the battalion fast reaction platoon with one squad continuing to provide security at air field.
5. Company D (rein). One squad (see overlay) departed at 0600H on patrol and returned at 1000H. No enemy contact. Picked up two Vietnamese (one old man and one old woman) at 523060.
6. 1st Platoon, B Recon. Continued to provide security for Bn CP.
