1. General Summary of Significant Events. Co A continued to act as Regimental Reserve, pending notification of relief. The 2nd platoon, Co B supported by Amtracs and one platoon of PF conducted sweep of northern tip of Ky Xuan Island.

4. Detailed Summary.
a. Co A, continued as regimental reserve pending notification of relief. No patrols were conducted by the company. There was no enemy contact.
b. Co B, continued to man their defensive positions with no morning patrols out. 2nd platoon departed at 0620H aboard AmTracs. At 0705 they arrived at the Junk Fleet Docks. At 0722H they departed with a Popular Force platoon aboard. Three AmTracs were on the island at 0745H. The blocking force was in position at 0810H just above GC line 11. Searching commenced. At 0950H, 2nd platoon reported custody of two VCS (F). Search continued with estimated time of completion of search of Northern tip at noon. At this time they plan to proceed South along patrol route.
c. Co C, continued to man the outpost on Hill 69 and the road checkpoint at GC 490067. 1st platoon location on Hill 69; 3rd platoon location now at bridge checkpoint; and 2nd platoon now at Co C CP (532084).
d. Co D, continues to work on defensive works. One patrol departed at 0540H and returned at 0930H with no enemy contact or observations.
e. AmTrac platoon (-) upon completion of lift of 2nd platoon Co B to the island proceeded on their recon of the waters North and West of the island. The farthest point of their recon took them to GC 416136.
f. No 81 illumination expended during the night.
