My father, David Stott, was in 1/4 in 1966, and over the past few months, I have come into contact with a few people who knew him, and fought side-by-side with him. I was given this site by Brian Mellor, and have checked it out numerous times. I just decided it was time to leave a personal thank you to one and all for their kind words. If there is anyone who remembers my father, and has stories or pictures to share, or would like information about him, please feel free to contact me. Semper Fi

What a great Website. I enjoyed reading the information, about 1st Ba. 4th Marines. My husband served with 1st Ba. 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, in 1966. When speaking of the boys he served with, he uses words like - Bravery, Valor and Loyalty in combat. I think, the boys who served in Vietnam, were the best that America had to offer. Thanks to all of you, for your honorable service, to our country. Vaya con Dios and Semper Fi. Sincerely, Diana Brown

I served in Bravo Co. 2nd Platoon 1/4 from 1982-1984 as a squad leader. It was the best outfit I ever had the pleasure to serve with. My company 1st Sgt was the Sgt Major of the Marine Corps from 1991-1995 which proves that 1/4 is where the best come from.
