Vietnam

Every since watching the 'liftoff' of the last Marine Helicopter in the evacuation of Saigon, 29 April 1975.  I remembered what I thought and how I felt, 'You mean some of my friends and the people I knew and met, died for nothing?'  We lied to the people of South Viet Nam when our government said, 'We'd come to your aid'.  And I remember crying as I watched the evacuation.  And I thought, 'why, why, why did we lose my friends and all of those guys for nothing'.

If some of you have the same memories or thoughts as I, then maybe this will help you.  It did 'nothing' for me.
