F. Religious Activities.
(1) Thirteen protestant services were conducted for the Battalion during the month of September. The total attendance was 233. The number receiving communion was 135.
(2) Nine protestant services were conducted by the Chaplain for others units. The total attendance was 125. The number receiving communion was 87.
(3) Seven Catholic Masses were conducted for the Battalion. The total attendance was 116.
(4) Morning prayers were held for Company C at 0700, 13 September.
(5) Thirty-one men were visited aboard the Hospital Ships and ten at Third Med Bn. A visit was made to the III MAF Brig by the Chaplain.
(6) Two troop indoctrinations were given with an attendance of 27.
